OBITUARY Saugerties ? Catherine ?Kay? McManus died Monday, December 31, 2012 at Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston. She was 92 years old. Born on August 29, 1920 in Yonkers, she was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Quinn Ryan. Her husband James predeceased her in 1981. For many years until her retirement, she was an Executive Secretary at Ciba- Geigy Pharmaceutical Company. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow Parish, an avid bingo player and member of Saugerties Senior Citizens Club. She also belonged to Vi?s Knitting Club. Survivors include two sons, Brian McManus and his wife Georgina of Yonkers and James McManus and his wife Maryellen of Kingston; a daughter, Cathy McManus of Yorktown Heights; seven Grandchildren Chris, Paul, Kimberly, Peter, Erin, Jake and Jillian; and four nieces, Terry Eddy, Colleen Ryan, Mary Pat Whelan, Patricia Flood. She was pre-deceased by six siblings William, Patrick, Edward, Michael, and Anthony Ryan and Mary Mullaney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday at Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart in Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Yonkers at a later date.
