OBITUARY Saugerties – Carl O. Heese, Jr. died Friday, November 9, 2012 at Kingston Hospital. He was 85 years old. The son of Carl, Sr. and Martha Roeser Heese, he was born June 13, 1927 in Wewela South Dakota. On June 2, 1951 he married the former Margaret Zauner. He was a member of Local #5 Newburgh BAC for 25 years. He was also employed by Marpac Industries for 14 years. He served in the US Army and was a member of Lamouree-Hacket Post #72 American Legion as well as an exempt member of Malden West Camp Fire Co. for more than 50 years. An avid fisherman and hunter, Carl also enjoyed golfing. In addition to his wife Marge, survivors include two daughters, Elinor Hunt and her husband, David of Saugerties and Virginia Abate and her husband, Frank of Gilbertown Alabama; two sons, Richard Heese and his companion, Karen Morrison of Saugerties and Michael Heese and his companion, Diane Jensen of Kingston; his sister, Charlotte Jones of Charlotte MI; and his brother, Norman Heese of West Camp. Nine grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by his sisters, Rosemary Robbins and Viola Bleidner. Funeral services will be conducted by Douglas Bauer at 8:00 PM Monday, November 12, 2012 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY. Cremation occurred at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Monday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
