Friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Friday, September 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, September 19, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery.

Bonnie Lee North, 67, of Saugerties, passed away at home on Sunday, September 13, 2026. She was born on June 26, 1959, and was the daughter of the late Ronnie and Dolores (Rathebor) North.

Bonnie always enjoyed penny socials, bingo nights, and spending time with good friends over a cup of coffee. Family was the most important thing to Bonnie, particularly the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by her life partner, Michael DePietro; her children, Stacy Jordal of Catskill and her partner, John Broadhurst Jr.; James Bach Jr. of Lecanto, FL, and his wife, Cassie; and Sabrina Bach of Ruby. She is also survived by her brother, Steven North of Hudson and his partner, Jean Raymond; her grandchildren, Michael “Mikey” Jordal, Faith Bach, Mackenzie Bach, and Patrick Scully; and her great-grandchild, Lilah Christiana. Bonnie is also survived by her best friend, Melanie Miller, and close friends Ronnie and Wendy Bell, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was predeceased by her son, Michael “Norty” North, in 2001, and her siblings, Andrew North, Gary North, Donna North, Ronnie North, and Sharon Cogswell.

The family would like to extend their special thanks to the members of Diaz Ambulance, the Saugerties Police Department, and Dakota and Nate from the HealthAlliance Hospital ICU, who all took excellent care of Bonnie before she passed. The family also wishes to thank Porsche and Dawn, the nurses who visited and cared for Bonnie over the past four years.
