OBITUARY Mt. Marion – Beverly J. Jordal died Monday, July 14 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. She was 76 years old. Born November 20, 1937 in Deerpark, LI, she was the daughter of Thomas and Beverly Tate. Her husband, Alfred Jordal died August 7, 2001. Beverly retired from Sears after more than 30 years of service. For many years she was a softball coach and volunteered with the Mount Marion Athletic Club. She was a member of the Plattekill Reformed Church and volunteered one day a week at the Well. Survivors include her daughter,, Lori Jordal of Parlin,NJ; three sons, Kristopher C. Jordal and his fiancé Melissa of Shady, NY, Robert T Jordal and his wife Michelle of Port Charlotte, FL, and Eric Jordal of Mt. Marion; her 4 grandchildren Kristopher Jordal, II, Nicole Tierson and her husband Kurtis, Michael Jordal and Noah Jordal; her great-grandchildren Kristopher Jordal III, Hailey Tierson and Charles Rose-Jordal; and her brother Alvin Crockett. Funeral services will be held 8:00 PM Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY. Rev. Robert Vanderlaan, Pastor of the Plattekill Reformed Church will officiate.
