Glasco – Beatrice D. Polcastro died Thursday,March 24, 2016 at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley, Broadway Campus. She was 87 years old.

Born October 8, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Augustus and Nora Higgins Parvicini. She had worked many years as a seamstress for various local dress factories and last year she left Walmart after 10 years of service.

A parishioner of St. Joseph's in Glasco, she was also a member of the Altar-Rosary Society. She also served several years as president of the Glasco Fire Company Ladies Auxilary.

Survivors incluse three children Carol Ann of Glasco, Diane Osgood and her husdband Deacon Greg and Philip and his wife Nannette of Glasco,; five grandchildren Kimberly Osgood, Elizabeth Hardgrave, Heather Ann Polcastro, Catherine Mary Polcastro and John Polcastro.

She was predeceased by her son, John in 2009.

A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM Tuesday, March 29, 2016at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY and then proceed to St. Joseph's RC Church in Glasco where a 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Monday, March 28, 2016 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties.
