Obituary
Saugerties – Arthur W. Falk died Monday, October 18, 2021 at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley Broadway Campus. He was 75 years old.
Born July 2, 1946 in Kingston, he was the son of the late Arthur Falk and the late Fannie Vaclavicek Falk. On June 23, 1968 he married the former Mildred Overbaugh who predeceased him on February 21, 2011.
He retired from the NYS Thruway where he worked for the Maintenance Division as a heavy equipment operator. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the Saugerties Fish and Game Club as well as a member and past president of the Ridge Runners Rod & Gun Club. Art was also a member and past captain of the Centerville Fire Co.
Survivors include his son Arthur W. Falk, Jr and his wife Rebecca; his son-in-law Anthony Bell; his grandchildren Emily Rose Falk and Jordan Mickey; and two sisters Linda Sapunarich and her husband Jerry of Smith's Landing and Carolyn Zindell and her husband Jeff of Florida. In addition to his wife, he was pre-deceased by his daughter Bonnie Lynn Bell in 2009; and his sister Diana Bibza in 1999.
