Saugerties – Anthony J. Cavallaro died Friday, October 6, 2017 at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley in Kingston. He was 68 years old.
Born May 21, 1949 in Brooklyn, he was the son of Anthony F. and Rose Napolitan Cavallaro. For more than 37 years he has been married to Peggy M. Greening Cavallaro. He retired from Ulster County Highway Department where he worked as a driver for 25 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 8 children, Lisa Winters, Anthony Cavallaro, Jr and his wife Amanda, Michael J. Cavallaro and his wife Monique, Jason T Cavallaro, Erica Cavallaro, Rebkah M. Cavallaro, Olivia A. Cavallaro, and Rose Ferraro; 5 siblings, Salvatore Cavallaro, John Cavallaro, Joseph Cavallaro, Rita Lake and her husband Jeff, and Louise Riola and her husband Vincent; and by 11 grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his son Sean in 1997.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street Chapel, Saugerties, NY. Interment will follow immediately in Blue Mountain Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
