OBITUARY Saugerties, NY – Anna C. Haines died Saturday March 22, 2014 at The Pines in Catskill. She was 73 years old. Born September 7, 1940 in Kingston she was the daughter of Walter and Ruth Smith. Her husband, Edward Haines died April 14, 1992. She had been employed at various local businesses including K-Mart, Rudco as a check printer, The Barclay Heights Diner as a waitress and most recently as a certified nursing assistant at TenBroeck Commoms. She was a member of the Saugerties Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Sunday Night Pin Benders in Saugerties. Survivors include six children LeRoy, Eddie and Paul Haines, William Haines and his wife Michelle, and Jacqueline Haines and her fiancé Richard Sprague all of Saugerties, and Deborah Deyo of Climax; seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and several brothers. In addition to her husband she was pre-deceased by a son Allen Haines. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, March 28, 2014 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY. Interment will follow in Blue Mountain Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
