OBITUARY Saugerties – Anna E Ferraro died Sunday March 2, 2014 at Tenbroeck Commons Nursing Home in Lake Katrine. She was 92 years old. Born November 27, 1921 in Glasco, NY, she was the daughter of Michael O and Carmela Buonfiglio Ferraro. She worked for many years as a sewing machine operator for local garment manufacturers and was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Glasco. A talented singer, Anna loved music and enjoyed spending time with her friends. Survivors include, her brother John Ferraro and his wife Irene; her sister Louise Saulpaugh and her husband Henry; and her sister-in-law Agnes Zelasko Ferraro all of Saugerties. Several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews also survive. She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Jane Misasi and Mary Amendola; and four brothers Peter, Salvatore "Taffy", Nicholas and Michael Ferraro. Funeral services will be Private and under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Anna's Memory to the Beauty Parlor Fund or the Activities Fund at Tenbroeck Commons Nursing Home. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights.
