Blacksburg, VA – Agnes M. Cashara died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Blacksburg, VA. She was 90 years old.

Born December 17, 1926 in Glasco, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Agnes Long Machione. She married her husband, Peter Cashara, on April 16,1955. Pre-deceased before her were Peter on March 10, 1992 and son Frank Cashara February 2, 2008.

Survivors include one child, her daughter, Nancy Bucklen and her husband Vincent of Blacksburg, VA ,two grandchildren Elizabeth and Peter of Blacksburg, VA; three sisters, Sarah Kocsis of Port Ewen, Angela Yerry of Lake Katrine and Theresa Minnick of Poughkeepsie; and by many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Anna and Dolores Machione and Lorraine Mills; and three brothers John, Lawrence and Joseph Machione.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph in Glasco for many years where she was a member of the Altar – Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Glasco Fire Co. Auxiliary.

A procession will form 9:15 AM Monday, July 17, 2017 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc. and then proceed to St. Joseph's Church in Glasco where a 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery will be private. Friends and family may call on Sunday July 16, 2017 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
