OBITUARY INFORMATION Lake Katrine ? Thomas Pappalardo died Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Ferncliff Nusing Home in Rhinebeck. He was 86 years old. He was born August 3, 1922 in Queens, NY the son of Frank & Domenica ?Mamie? Bruno Pappalardo. He was pre-deceased by his wife, the former Geralyn Hollis, on March 16, 2000. He was a retired electrical engineer for IBM and member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a parishioner of St. Catherine Laboure Parish in Lake Katrine. He served in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. He is survived by two daughters, Linda Scott and her husband David of Saugerties, NY and Teresa (Maines) Wilson of Perth Australia; eight grandchildren, Ryan Scott, Cory Scott Patterson, Thomas Scott, Jeralyn Scott Tiernan, Nicole Swift, Tracy Swift Camacho, Joseph Maines and Danielle Maines; and his sister, Lucy Alfieri of East Hampton, LI. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his son Frank Pappalardo in 1999; and by his brother Nicholas Pappalardo. A Funeral procession will form 8:30 AM Monday, February 9, 2009 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street Chapel, Saugerties, NY and then proceed to St. Catherine Laboure RC Church in Lake Katrine where a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Father John T. Kearney, Pastor of St. Catherine Laboure will officiate. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery.
