Margaret Iannone

Margaret ?Peg? Iannone, a former resident of Saugerties and Kingston, died Friday March 28, 2008 in Georgetown, TX. She was 70 years old. Peg was born July 4, 1937 in Kingston, the daughter of William Henry and Elizabeth (Blass) Sill. On October 26, 1957 she married Alfred ?Al? Iannone. She trained as a nurse prior to marriage, stayed home to raise her children, and later returned to the workforce as a Corporate Buyer for IBM. She and Al settled in the Georgetown Texas to enjoy their retirement years and became dedicated members of St. Helen?s Catholic Church. Peg enjoyed participating in the ladies club as well as many unique church related activities until Alzheimer?s took effect. She always maintained a positive upbeat outlook despite the devastating impact of Alzheimer?s. Although it was no longer as eloquently displayed as in the past, her ever present sense of humor was never defeated. 2 Peg is Survived by her husband, Alfred ?Al;? of Georgetown, TX; three sons, Michael of Georgetown, TX, Steven and his wife Michelle of Taylor, TX, and Paul and his wife Paola of Rio Rancho, NM; a daughter Leanora Hickman and her husband Tim of California; a brother, William Sill and his wife, Yvonne of Kingston; nine grandchildren, Michael and his wife Kathleen, Charles, Alyssa, Eric, Logan, Gabriella, Emily, Grace, and Lilly; and a very special cousin, Sister Eleanor Murphy, Sisters of St. Ursula, of Rhinebeck, NY; an numerous other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by her infant daughter, Jean Elizabeth. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street Chapel, Saugerties, NY. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY.
